IBOA says no place for short-term private investors in banks

The Irish Bank Officials Association is calling on the Government to do whatever it takes to keep short-term private investors out of the banking system.

The Irish Congress of Trade Unions says the Government should borrow the billions required to recapitalise Irish banks.
