The ISEQ index of Irish shares increased in early trading this morning, up 47.94 points to 2,722.80 by 11am.
There were mixed performances among the banking sector, with AIB up 2c or .67% to €3.00 and Bank of Ireland holding steady at €1.21 after yesterday's profit drop news, but Anglo Irish Bank continued its downward slide, dropping 33c or 19.08% to €1.40.
