ISEQ slightly up in early trading

The ISEQ index of Irish shares was up 89.98 points to 3,115.20, an increase of 2.97%, at 11am this morning.

All of the major banks reported increases. AIB was up 3c to €4.50, Anglo Irish Bank was up 2c to €2.15, Bank of Ireland was up 19c to €2.29 while Irish Life & Permanent increased by 14c to €2.49.
