FTSE bank stocks remained under the spotlight today as Barclays took more losses on concerns over the cost of its Middle East bail-out.

Barclays, which lost 13% on Friday, was the FTSE 100 Index’s biggest faller today as investors weighed up the cost of the funds being raised from Qatar and Abu Dhabi.
