Trading suspended again in Russia
Trading has been suspended on Russia's main stock markets for a second time.
Trading on MICEX was shut down for a second time at 3.10pm (11.10am time) for two hours after shares dropped by 16.7% to 770.2 points.
The benchmark RTS – where trading was halted for a second time at 3.30pm (11.30am time) for two hours – tumbled to its lowest point since August 2005, falling by 15.7% to drop below the 1,000-point mark at 903.2 points.
Russia is now the worst-performing of all major markets, the RTS down by 62% from its May peak.
