Aer Lingus to brief unions on €100m cost-cutting plan

Aer Lingus management is reportedly due to meet trade unions at the airline next week to outline its plans for a further €100m worth of cutbacks.

Reports this morning say the briefings will be going ahead despite the management team's failure to get board approval for the plan.
