Anglo Irish Bank has announced it is to sell its private banking subsidiary Anglo Irish Bank (Austria) AG to a Swiss banking group, Valaris.

Anglo Irish Bank has announced it is to sell its private banking subsidiary Anglo Irish Bank (Austria) AG to a Swiss banking group, Valaris.

The bank has not disclosed the price involved but has said the deal should be completed within three months.
