Fuel costs drive up Aer Lingus losses to €22m

Aer Lingus has reported operating losses of more than €22m for the first half of this year. A €2.6m profit was made in the same period last year.

The airline blamed a 50% jump in fuel costs on its first loss of profits since 2001.
