Ireland's annual inflation rate has fallen significantly over the past month, largely as a result of the traditional summer sales.

Ireland's annual inflation rate has fallen significantly over the past month, largely as a result of the traditional summer sales.

The Central Statistics Office says the annual rate of increase was down to 4.4% in July, compared to 5% in June.
