The ISEQ-index of Irish shares was unable to build on yesterday's success and slipped 175.58 points to 4,884.93.
Some of the worst performances were among the banking sector as IL&P plunged 65c to €5.40. AIB saw a 45c drop to €8.31, while Bank of Ireland slipped 25c to €5.96.
