Vodafone reports 19% rise in global revenues

The mobile phone firm Vodafone has reported a 19% rise in its global revenues to €12bn for the first quarter of 2008.

The company says its average revenue per user in Ireland fell to €41 in the June quarter, down from €45 for the same period last year last year.
