NCA names retailers who breached consumer laws
the National Consumer Agency has published a list of retailers that have been found to have breached consumer legislation.
Tesco and the Dundrum Shopping Centre in Dublin were both prosecuted and fined for failing to display the price of products, while 14 fines were imposed on grocery stores who were not displaying prices.
The list published today is the first to be published as part of a name-and-shame campaign by the NCA.
It also shows that the agency secured four undertakings from traders to refrain from misleading sales practices.
Two companies, Arch Motors and Orange Motors, were found to be altering the reading of car odometers.
