Bord Pleanála rejects plans for Tipperary bio-fuel factory

An Bord Pleanála has refused permission for a bio-fuel production plant in Co Tipperary.

The proposed facility would have processed 250,000 tonnes of livestock offal and by-product in the small village of Rosegreen.

The decision has been welcomed by Horse Trainer Aidan O'Brien from the Ballydoyle Racing Stables and Coolmore Stud, who was campaigning against the facility.
