'Cash strapped shoppers turning to discount supermarkets'

Shoppers are turning to discount supermarkets for savings as the credit crunch tightens its grip, a survey published today reveals.

Almost a third (30%) of Irish consumers have changed their grocery buying habits since the start of the year, according to the National Consumer Agency (NCA) poll.
