Davy Stockbrokers has cut its 2008 GNP volume growth estimate from 1.7% to just 1%, and does not expect a rebound to 3.5% until 2010.

Davy Stockbrokers has cut its 2008 GNP volume growth estimate from 1.7% to just 1%, and does not expect a rebound to 3.5% until 2010.

This is due to what the company calls “deteriorating conditions for consumers” as well as “a weakening labour market, tighter credit and a negative wealth effect”.
