IFA will not support Lisbon without WTO assurances

The Irish Farmers Association says its members will not support the Lisbon Treaty unless they receive satisfactory assurances about the next world trade deal.

The association is accusing the Government of refusing to commit to a veto if the next WTO deal is bad for Irish farmers.
