GNP growth expected to plummet to just 0.5%

The economy’s growth is set to slow sharply this year, according to a report issued today.

GNP growth in 2007 was 4.5%, but the Ulster Bank Quarterly Economic Outlook has forecast at just 0.5% in 2008.
