IMPACT welcomes EU ruling on fixed-term workers

The IMPACT trade union has welcomed a European Court of Justice ruling which, it says, establishes new rights for workers on fixed-term contracts.

The judgement confirms that an existing EU directive gives fixed-term staff the same pay and pension entitlements as permanent staff.
