CRH purchases own shares

CRH has announced that on April 8 2008, Davy Stockbrokers purchased, on behalf of the company, 149,000 ordinary shares of €0.32 each in CRH.

Prices were between €24.40 and €24.84 per ordinary share. The purchased shares will be held as Treasury Shares.
