ISEQ receives a shot in the arm

The ISEQ index of Irish shares shot up 120.40 points this mornign to 6472.36.

The banking sector recorded a promising morning of trading with AIB up 32c to €14.27, Bank of Ireland climbed 14c to €9.76 while Anglo also made gains, increasing 7c to €8.68.
