The body representing businesses in the tourism industry has warned that the sector will not perform so strongly this year due to the weakening US dollar and rising oil prices.

The Irish Tourist Industry Confederation is predicting that overseas visits from the UK will remain static, while visitor numbers from the US will increase by just 4%.
