Average Irish household worth €674,000, says report

A new report out today from National Irish Bank (NIB) shows that aggregate wealth in Ireland has surpassed €1 trillion for the first time in 2008, despite the recent drop in property prices and the crash in value of world stock markets.

By the start of 2008, the average Irish household was worth a massive €674,000. Excluding owner-occupied housing, the figure is €352,000.
