Number of women in workforce up 15% in 10 years

The amount of women in the Irish workforce has increased by more than 15% over the past 10 years, according to figures from the Central Statistics Office.

The CSO says 60% of women are now working outside the home, meaning Ireland has already exceeded its EU target for 2010.
