The Irish market continued to wallow in negative territory today as banking stocks plunged further.

The ISEQ-index sank 57.12 points to 7,313.50 as banking big guns dived deeper into the red. IL&P emerged as the worst offender with a sizeable 49c chunk knocked off its share price closing at €13.74.
