Capita buoyed by new contracts

Outsourcing firm Capita today offset the loss of its London congestion charge contract by announcing £1.9bn (€2.6bn) worth of new business so far this year.

The figure compares with £1.37bn (€1.92bn) at the same stage of last year and includes significant deals with Co-operative Insurance and Prudential.
