The value of shares on the Irish stock market is continuing to fall today due to continuing uncertainty about the global economy, falling 98.66 points to 6,298.34 by 12.12pm.

The ISEQ Index fell by 1.5% in early trading this morning after a disastrous day yesterday that saw €3.5bn wiped off the value of shares.
