Further fall in house prices predicted for next year

One of Ireland's leading stockbrokers is predicting that the slowdown in the housing market will continue up until the end of next year.

In a report out today, Goodbody Stockbrokers says it expects that house prices at the end of 2008 will be 13% lower than the peak they reached before the slowdown started this year.
