Another slide for ISEQ

It was a miserable day’s trading on the Irish Stock Exchange, as the ISEQ index had fallen156.56 points to 7458.98 by 6pm this evening.

The financial sector had a poor showing, with all firms losing ground. AIB performed worst shedding 55c to €15.80. Anglo Irish Bank didn't fare much better down 50c to €10.63. Irish Life and Permanent followed the negative trend (down 48c to €13.60) as did Bank of Ireland (dropping 32c to €11.50).
