Danske Bank sees profits rise

Danske Bank has today announced a rise in its profits for the first nine months of 2007.

Net profit for the first nine months of 2007 amounted to DKr11,306m (€1,516m), against DKr11,180m (€1,499m) in the first nine months of 2006.

This result was in line with expectations and was achieved despite the turbulence in the financial markets in the third quarter of 2007.
