Little change for ISEQ

Trading was light on the Irish Stock Exchange today, with the ISEQ index inching down a mere 6.76 points to 7742.82.

Anglo Irish Bank was the worst performer of the day, sliding 68c to €11.35. The outlook was better elsewhere in the financial sector however. Allied Irish Banks did well by comparison, inching down a mere 2c to €16.48. Both Irish Life And Permanent (up 14c to €15.64) and Bank of Ireland (up 13c to €12.01) posted modest gains.
