Another slide for ISEQ
It was a miserable day’s trading on the Irish Stock Exchange today, as the ISEQ index fell 132.82 points to 8181.90.
The financial sector had a poor showing, with all firms losing ground. Chief among them was Allied Irish Bank, who shed 35c to €17.68. Irish Life & Permanent (down 30c to €16.75), Bank of Ireland (down 28c to €13.12) and Anglo Irish Bank (down 28c to €13.30) were not far behind however.
