Fifty new jobs are to be created by a car parts firm in Co Antrim, it was announced today.
Schrader Electronics plans to increase its workforce in Carrickfergus after securing new contracts.
The company, which specialises in tyre pressure monitoring systems, wants to bring staff levels up from 550 to 600 by next year.
Its new recruits will help the company develop systems which provide driver information through an instrument cluster.
Schrader, which has bases in Carrickfergus and Antrim as well as other countries including the United States, Japan and France, supplies car manufacturers around the world.
The announcement was praised by Alliance East Antrim MLA Sean Neeson.
