Figures show strong economic growth in second quarter

Ireland's economy continued to grow strongly in the second quarter of this year, according to the latest quarterly national accounts from the CSO.

The figures show that GDP between April and June was 5.4% higher than the same period last year, while GNP was up 4.5%.
