Pop mogul bankrupt

The man who created the boy bands the Backstreet Boys and ’N Sync is losing homes in Florida and New Jersey in bankruptcy proceedings, as he faces separate US charges of defrauding a bank out of $20 (€14.5m).

A bankruptcy judge approved the £3.6m (€5.3m) sale of Lou Pearlman’s homes.
