Fidelity to create 49 jobs in Galway

Mutual fund company Fidelity Investments are to create 49 full time jobs in Galway as the firm sets up a new research and development facility there.

Mutual fund company Fidelity Investments are to create 49 full time jobs in Galway as the firm sets up a new research and development facility there.

The company is one of the world's largest providers of financial services.

The new employees will work in collaboration with 12 academics, and the facility will be one of the largest R&D functions in operation here.

Fidelity Ireland currently employs 300 people in offices in Galway and Dublin.
