Rentokil set for return to growth

Rat catcher to washroom services firm Rentokil Initial today brushed aside a 27% fall in interim profits, as it reassured investors that the group was on track to deliver growth next year.

The firm reported pre-tax profits from continuing operations of £65.3m (€96m) for the six months to June 30, against £89.4m (€132m) last year.
