Average industrial earnings up 5.7% last year

Average hourly earnings in the industrial sector increased by 5.7% last year, according to new figures from the Central Statistics Office.

The CSO says average earnings, including bonuses, were just under €20-an-hour for industrial workers at the end of 2006.
