People flock for free sleep IKEA 'hostel'
If comfy beds and Swedish meatballs weren’t enough, home furnishing company Ikea this week offered its customers the full shop-til-you-drop experience at one of its stores in Norway.
“It’s been absolutely fully booked. We’ve had more than 1,200 applications for people wanting to sleep in the hostel,” Ikea spokesman Frode Ullebust said today, claiming it was the world’s fist IKEA hostel.
