ERSI predicts economic slowdown as housing boom ends

The ESRI is predicting that the Irish economy will enter a stage of transition next year as the housing boom comes to an end.

In its latest Quarterly Economic Survey, the think tank says it expects economic growth, employment growth and consumer spending to slow down during 2008.
