Unions delay decision on response to ESB closures

Unions at ESB say they will not be making any decision on their response to planned plant closures until the new energy minister meets them to discuss the Government's white-paper proposals on energy.

The company recently approved the closures as part of a deal with the energy regulator that will allow the company to build a new station in Cork Harbour.
