British Airways to raise fuel price surcharges

British Airways is to increase the fuel surcharge for passengers on its long-haul flights from next week because of oil price rises, it was announced today.

Short-haul flights are not affected, but the surcharge on long-haul flights of less than nine hours will rise from £33 (€48) a flight to £38 (€55) from next Wednesday.
