Sales at Standard Life Ireland soared to €191m for the first quarter 2007, up from €98m in the same quarter last year, representing a 92% increase in sales.

Sales at Standard Life Ireland soared to €191m for the first quarter 2007, up from €98m in the same quarter last year, representing a 92% increase in sales.

Nigel Dunne, director of sales and marketing with Standard Life, said: "A growth rate of 92% is particularly pleasing. It also underlines the continued turnaround we are seeing in our business and continues the momentum built up over the last number of years."
