BA maintains margin target

British Airways staff could be on course for a bonus return next year after the airline today kept alive hopes of hitting a key performance target.

The airline said it still expected to make an operating margin of 10% in the year to March 2008, as it attempts to recover from a prior year blighted by terrorist scares and a threatened cabin crew strike.
