Telecoms group Orange today highlighted the impact of tougher competition on revenues from traditional services such as voice calls in the UK.

The France Telecom-owned business saw the number of UK customers on its contract services slip from 4.98 million last year to 4.97 million, while the average revenues per user fell from £263 (€386) a year to £257 (€377) a year.
