ISEQ in the red

The ISEQ index of ISEQ shares was in negative territory this evening, finishing down 22.21 points to 9310.65 by the end of day's trading.

The financial heavyweights enjoyed mixed fortunes. AIB fell 2c to €22.38 while Irish Life and Permanent fell 10c to €21.10. However Anglo Irish Bank rose 1c to €15.71 and Bank of Ireland rose 5c to €17.50.
