The ISEQ-index of Irish shares has begun the week in positive territory climbing 7.93 points to 9390.35 in early trading.
Shares at the construction group McInerney were buoyed by a jump in building in the UK and has announced an 18% increase for 2006 with 2,372 homes completed in 2006.
