The ISEQ index of Irish shares got off to a positive start this morning, rising 19.47 points to 9284.54 by 11.30am.
The Financial heavyweights enjoyed mostly bad fortunes this morning. Anglo Irish Bank fell 13c to €15.80, AIB fell 7c to €22.05 while Bank of Ireland slipped 1c to €17.12.
