The ISEQ index of Irish shares was in positive territory this morning, up 25.69 points to 9342.41 by 11am this morning.

The ISEQ index of Irish shares was in positive territory this morning, up 25.69 points to 9342.41 by 11am this morning.

The majority for the financial heavyweights enjoyed good fortunes this morning. Bank of Ireland rose 8c to €17.20, AIB gained 3c to €22.28 and Anglo Irish Bank edged up 1c to €15.80.
