The seasonally-adjusted volume of industrial production for manufacturing industries for the three-month period September to November 2006 was down 6% on the preceding three-month period.

The seasonally-adjusted volume of industrial production for manufacturing industries for the three-month period September to November 2006 was down 6% on the preceding three-month period.

On an annual basis production for all industries in November 2006 was 10.8% lower than in November 2005. The "modern" sector, comprising a number of high-technology and chemical sectors, showed an annual decrease in production for November 2006 of 14.6%, while a decrease of 1.6% was recorded in the "traditional" sector.
