'42% of employees planning to change jobs in New Year'

A large number of Irish workers are planning to mark the New Year by changing jobs, according to recruitment website IrishJobs.ie.

IrishJobs.ie says 42% of respondents to a survey it conducted were making it their New Year's resolution to find a different job in January.

The website says the figure should prompt employers to provide more incentives to prevent their staff from quitting, particularly in the post-festive period.
